So for the few people who may have noticed I was absent for quite some time, here's why:

In September of last year, we found out that I was a few months pregnant. I had a complicated pregnancy and didn't really have the time or energy to do anything other than watch my daughter and try to get ready for the baby. I'm happy to announce that on February 20th, Anthony James entered the world via C-Section!

At birth, he was 10lb 13oz, and 21.5 inces long! He's now 7 months old, and we've made it through colic, weight gain issues, and a bad reflux problem. So finally, aside from his separation anxiety (he's on my lap as I write this!) things are calming down and I finally have time to return to my crafties and relax a bit.

And of course, there has been gratuitous picture taking, some of which I may upload later!

I really don't want my da to be a bunch of pictures of me. I uploaded a few yesterday, and have one more to do today, but then that's it for quite a while. And I'll color a bunch of stuff to knock them off my page, too, lol. Until then I'm sorry I'm not prettier.

My name is Reiko. I'm a stay at home mom. I enjoy writing, drawing, editing images, coloring line art, and practicing calligraphy and my Japanese penmanship. I also like sewing, cooking, and doing various crafts. Sadly I don't have enough time in the day for all of that. XP I also love playing magic (the gathering), D&D, Trickster Online and Gaia. Those take up lots of my non-mom & girlfriend time. (Although my bf does the games with me, so that helps.)

But enough about my hobbies. Outside the home I pick up odd jobs such as posing for photographs, coding websites, raising money for local charities, selling flowers (around valentines), the occasional waitressing, and the (far less occasional these days) acting. You know the saying about jack of all trades, right? So true!

I'm hoping to open an online indie clothing store about this time next year, and a web design store some time between now and then. I need the extra cash. I get an allowance, but it's just too small to fund all my little projects.

So, basically I'm just a busybody is what I guess I'm trying to say, lol.
